Early Bird Doesn't Want the Worm

[YAAWN]
Good morning,
Well this morning I woke up earlier than I wanted to! Then I read a book about Queen Anne Boleyn of England... Sad story there, then, I got up and went to check the time.
Now, I am sitting here listening to the birds and wishing I had something to talk about. (Not just the boring details of my early morning.) Speaking of Listening to the birds I finally thought of/rememberd what I am going to talk about.
You know that expression : "The Early Bird gets the worm."?
It's all fine and dandy that the bird gets the worm, but when people use this as a motivational expression (commonly to get people to wake up early) the last thing I would want to do is get up...and get a worm!
I would love to hear from you about what you think of the expression, "the early bird gets the worm" and whether it would motivate you to get out of bed or to pull the covers around you tighter.

Sorry for the not very environmental post,
Yours as always,
Greenie

Ahhh, Home Sweet Home!

WOW!
You know what feels really great? Coming home from camp and realizing how comfortable your mattress is...and also eating fresh organic produce from your local food Co-op!
In other words: it sure is great to be home from camp! Though I love the whole atmosphere and such of the camp that I was at, I LOVE being home.

So, that said, I hope that you 'Partied Green' on the Fourth...I also hope that if you used fireworks (or sparklers), you picked up all the trash that they made...because those things are TOXIC!

I hope that you've had a wonderful summer so far and that you stayed nice and cool!
Signed,

About Spring Pictures

I was just looking at the post before this when I reallized that I had a perfect example of a good spring picture:

Spring Pictures

Hi everybody,
With spring here it's time to take some flower pictures...You can be the next Georgia O'Keefe
Great Spring Pictures include:
Tulips
Vegetable gardens
Trees with leaves growing
a close up of a dandelion
etc.
Taking pictures of springtime is great...you never know what you'll find!
If you take a REALLY great picture, I'd love to hear all about it from you! (just comment at the bottom of this post where it says "comment")
Have fun,

Happy Earth Day

Hi everybody!
I know it's a bit late for this but, Happy Earth Day!!
I hope that in honor of the earth, that you partied green, carpooled, recycled, composted, and that you were conscious about everything that you did and how it might affect the world.
We are enjoying nice dreary weather (again) where I live...I hope that you have sunnier skies! At least this weather that we're (not) enjoying very much, is better than what we experienced last spring/summer. Almost everyday we would have these terrible torrential thunderstorms with the rain coming down so hard you could barley see...there was hail and everything! So, thank god that our clear grey skies do not bring with them such terrible storms.
Enjoy your day!
