Hi everybody!
I know it's a bit late for this but, Happy Earth Day!!
I hope that in honor of the earth, that you partied green, carpooled, recycled, composted, and that you were conscious about everything that you did and how it might affect the world.
We are enjoying nice dreary weather (again) where I live...I hope that you have sunnier skies! At least this weather that we're (not) enjoying very much, is better than what we experienced last spring/summer. Almost everyday we would have these terrible torrential thunderstorms with the rain coming down so hard you could barley see...there was hail and everything! So, thank god that our clear grey skies do not bring with them such terrible storms.
Enjoy your day!

April Break
I'm sure for a lot of you April break is coming up! April break is a great time to get out of the house and pick up garbage or save the earth. Though it's a great time to help the earth I also know that for a lot of people this means endless parties. Luckily, if you are reading this blog you are probably responsible when it comes to having parties. For those of you who would like to know a few ways to 'party green' I have a few tips below.
Party Green ‘campaign’ tips
a) use compostable or recyclable utensils
b) always reuse your forks, plates, spoons, cups, knives, etc.
c) try to stay away from packaged foods
d) make things out of organic fresh fruits and vegetables instead of using packages of fruits and dip
e) make your own dips
f) always pick up any wrappers, balloon pieces, confetti, or anything else that belongs in the garbage and/or recycling
g) if there will be BBQ get free range meat
h) research other ways of minimizing waste
i) research more about how to ‘party green’
j) tell friends/ guests how to ‘party green’
I will try to post more ‘party green’ tips over April break but I can’t make any promises.

Spring has Sprung!
Hello again!
I haven't posted anything in quite a while... (forgive me)
Spring is finally here and the trees in my neighborhood have the most beautiful blossoms! I've always thought that trees blossoming are the most beautiful sight...and now I can prove that it's true, I'm not crazy!
For your homework: Take a walk, climb a tree, go barefoot in the garden!
